Swingers in Melbourne: Meet Couples Across Victoria
City bars for the first drink, Shed 16 at Seaford for later, and Victorian members to chat with before you book.
Start with a drink in the city
A swinging night in Melbourne comes in two halves. The bars are in the city, and Shed 16, a swingers venue, is out at Seaford, about 36 km south-east of the CBD. Meet in town first, then decide together whether the second half happens.
Victoria has more than 200 Swingers Lounge members, and more than 70 of them are couples. Say hello to a few before you book anything and the room at Seaford stops being a room of strangers.
Heading elsewhere? All our places sit in one list, swingers in Australia covers the other states and swingers in Sydney is the page for a trip north.
Where Victoria's swingers go out
| Name | What it is | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Shed 16 | Themed nights on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays | Seaford, about 36 km south-east of the CBD |
| Saints & Sinners Erotic Ball | Ticketed party nights | Inflation, 60 King Street, CBD |
| Virtue & Vice | Female-led party organiser | Melbourne Pavilion, Kensington |
Time Out called Shed 16 "the city's only purpose-built swingers venue" in October 2024. When we checked on 14 October 2026, its website listed events from 15 to 24 October: Shared Secrets Couples Night on Fridays, Club Erotique on Saturdays and Taboo on Tuesdays. For a first booking, the couples' night is the obvious pick.
Saints & Sinners has run for three decades, according to Time Out, and its ticketed nights at Inflation were listed for 27 March, 26 June and 2 October 2026. Virtue & Vice launched in 2023, and the latest listing we found was a night called The Boudoir on 27 and 28 November 2025.
Nights move and venues come and go, so confirm the date and the door rules on the organiser's own page before you travel. Swingers clubs explains how registration and photo ID usually work, and swingers parties covers guest lists.
Break the ice over a drink
Three bars to start from, all checked on 14 October 2026. Lui Bar is on level 55 of the Rialto on Collins Street. Above Board is in Collingwood and Caretaker's Cottage is in the CBD, and both appear in Time Out's cocktail bar guide, last updated on 7 May 2026.
Street art, cafés and bars fill Melbourne's laneways, and Fitzroy, Collingwood and St Kilda are the suburbs to try if you want live music with your drink. The guide to your first swinger meet covers what to say once you are sitting down.
Get there and get home
- In the city: public transport runs on the myki card, and Flinders Street and Southern Cross are the stations to know.
- Flying in: Melbourne Airport at Tullamarine is 22 km north-west of the CBD, and Avalon Airport is 55 km south-west.
- Coming from further out: Geelong is about 75 km south-west and Frankston 39 km south-east, so meet in town and travel on together.
Seaford is a proper drive, so settle who is driving, or book the ride home, before the first drink.
Sort the health talk early
Got a Medicare card? healthdirect, the health service backed by Australian government partners, says an STI test should then be covered, at your own doctor or at a sexual health clinic.
Talk about testing and condoms before the night. The safety page explains the ID checks, member ratings and blocking tools that put you in charge of who contacts you.

Are there swingers clubs in Melbourne?
Seaford, about 36 km south-east of the CBD, is home to Shed 16, which had events listed when we checked on 14 October 2026. Organisers such as Saints & Sinners run ticketed party nights in the CBD. Check each door policy and book ahead.
How far is Shed 16 from the city centre?
About 36 km south-east of the CBD, in Seaford. That is a drive rather than a stroll, so agree who is driving or book a ride home before you leave. A bar in the city makes an easy opening move.
